Saumya Bandara is an accomplished HR and Talent Management professional with over a decade of global experience in Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and Corporate Sustainability. She holds an LLB from the University of London, an MSc in Management, and degrees from RMIT University and the University of Manchester, and is currently a doctoral candidate in HR and Strategic Management. Saumya has held senior roles—including Principal Consultant and Head of Department—delivering strategic HR solutions for local and multinational organizations across Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and the Middle East. She is a Chartered Member of CIPD, CIArb, and MCA (UK), and has driven large-scale projects in Talent Strategy, ERP implementation, and ESG frameworks.
A Recipient of the Gold and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s International Awards, Saumya has represented Sri Lanka as a delegate to the Global Award Holders’ Network and served as National Organizer of the Gold Award Holders’ Association. In addition to her leadership in HR and organizational development, she is the Founder of LexTalenta Advisory Group. Saumya is also an experienced career coach, lecturer, and a passionate Advocate for Corporate Sustainability, Leadership and Strategic Innovation.
Kalinga Indatissa, President’s Counsel, is one of Sri Lanka’s most eminent legal professionals, recognized for his exceptional contributions to the legal field. He holds an LLM from the University of Colombo and graduated from Sri Lanka Law College with First Class Honours, placing first in order of merit. Mr. Indatissa served as President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) from 2019 to 2021 and has been a pivotal figure in legal education as a Lecturer and Examiner in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Administrative Law, Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Legal History at Sri Lanka Law College and General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
He has held numerous key positions including Sri Lanka’s representative to the International Bar Association, Director of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, Director of Central Environmental Authority, and Director of Employees Trust Fund. He was appointed as a member of the committee by the Minister of Justice in 2021 to streamline judicial training and has received national recognition as a Sustainable Development Goals Role Model Leader by the Sri Lanka United Nations Friendship Organization. Mr. Indatissa has also contributed as a senior advisor to the Ministry of Constitutional Affairs and has been involved in a wide range of legal, academic, and public service roles throughout his career, making a significant impact on the Sri Lankan legal landscape
